About us
LinkLiving is a Scottish charity that helps people to recover from the negative impacts of trauma and disadvantage. We have been providing specialist services in Central Scotland to support mental health, homelessness prevention, independent living, and inclusion for 20 years.
The charity is particularly recognised for supporting young people to develop the personal resilience, practical and emotional skills as well as the experience necessary for successfully managing key transitions in their lives. This includes leaving care, moving on from homelessness, moving into their own tenancy, and achieving positive destinations such as a course or a job. We aim to ensure that today's young Scots are in a position to achieve their full potential.
Whilst focusing on young people to help prevent the cycle from continuing, LinkLiving also works with both adults and older people, many of whom has experienced trauma or other disadvantages which exclude them from full participation in society. This have affected their personal development and resilience, and negatively impacted on their ability to manage change.
We now provide support, care and employability services to more than 2,000 people a year in Edinburgh, Falkirk, and Fife. We are an independent charity and a subsidiary of the Link Group.
